Information about us

The site was operated by staff at the British Geological Survey (BGS), a component institute of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). NERC is registered in England and Wales by Royal Charter under company number RC000740. BGS have our head office at British Geological Survey, Environmental Science Centre, Keyworth, Nottingham, NG12 5GG.

Since January 2022, the site is operated by staff at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH). UKCEH is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee with charitable status. UKCEH’s head office is at:
